If you’ve ever launched a venture, then you know how stressful the process can be. Even if you are the best of the best in planning, the amount of time, energy, and emotion exerted during the launch process can turn your project from “Launch Day” into:
So to keep you sane (and sober) for your launch, here are 3 hacks we suggest in making sure you’re in tip-top shape when you pull the curtains back on your amazing offering:
- Make a plan. You want to make sure you have a strong action plan for pre, during, and post phases of your launch. Collect great data and testimonials, share specific details on what makes what you’re offering the “best in the biz”. Share this plan with your team and even parts with your audience. Your goal is to get people excited about the launch with you so when you finally release it, you’ll have someone to celebrate with.
- Self-care. This may sound cliche, but self-care should ALWAYS be included in your launch strategy. Need a day of relaxation the week before your launch? Perhaps a full-body massage the day before? Whatever the case, front load it into your launch so you can be rested and ready on launch day.
- Take some quiet time. This could definitely fall in line with self-care, but more specifically, take some time to just be quiet with your thoughts. Closeout social media, turn on your email out of office, toss that phone on DND. Whether it’s for the day or a couple of hours, quiet the noise in your mind so that you can get refocused and refueled without all the distractions.
And here’s a bonus tip for honorable mentions:
GET A GOOD NIGHT’S REST! It’s easy to stay up the night before finishing last-minute stuff and trying to squeeze all the tasks you can in. But the truth is, you need rest. Grab a drink of water, set the alarm for the next day, and go to bed at a decent hour. Your mind and your body will thank you!
